Those interested in postdoctoral work should forward their CV and area of interest to Dr. Stremler at least six months in advance of the intended start date to determine if postdocs are being accepted for the following year and to ensure enough time to apply for external funding.
PhD Students
Those interested in pursuing PhD studies should forward their CV and areas of interest to Dr. Stremler at least six months in advance of the application deadline to determine if students are being accepted for the following year. It takes time to determine if there is a good fit between the research interests of applicant and supervisor and to develop a focused, compelling statement of academic and research goals
for the application. Please note that characteristics of successful applicants to the Lawrence S. Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing PhD program include an “A” standing in the master’s program, excellent references attesting to research potential, a CV demonstrating evidence of scholarship and research ability.
Undergraduate Students
Dependent on project needs, undergraduate students are hired to work on various aspects of grant preparation, study set-up and data collection.
